Direct answer

Fields of Mistria 0.15.2 was a quality-of-life and bug-fix patch between the major updates and the 1.0 release. The official notes added new pet skins, made Fish Bait and Pheromones work in the Mines, adjusted the Bug Net catch range, added seasonal cosmetics, and gave the Hero’s Ring a glow effect in Dark Floors. They also added new NPC dialogue and more Ruins decor.

This is historical version context. It is useful when reading an old save report or changelog, but it is not a current 1.0.2 checklist and does not prove that every listed item or fix remains relevant to a particular save.

Mines and item changes

Fish Bait and Pheromones were updated to work in the Mines and to summon the expected fish or bugs at the appropriate rarity level. The notes also changed Void Material spawn rates, updated fish and bug spawn rates in the Lava Caves, limited Arena floors in the Mines to one appearance per day, and made Living Gryphon Statues destroy rocks more consistently.

The Lost and Found collection was changed to include the Player’s Farm while excluding farm buildings such as barns, coops, and greenhouses. Legendary Fish could no longer appear in the Fish Trap. Apiaries and Terrariums updated their requested item when the season changed, and the Hero’s Ring received the same Dark Floors glow behavior as Mistril Armor.

The patch added new Ruins decor, with the official note specifying the Reclaimer perk as the discovery condition. It also added seasonal cosmetics at Louis’s stall and new cosmetics at Wheedle’s stall. These are version-labelled changes, not evidence for a current item-availability table.

NPCs, festivals, and quality of life

New gift dialogue was added for Adeline, Balor, Caldarus, and Juniper, along with additional dialogue after the current Friday Night at the Inn storylines. Submitting items to the Final Seal gained a warning that watching the cutscene ends the day. The Void Set museum description was corrected, and the game no longer allowed a player to stay past 2 a.m. when a cutscene started at 1:59 a.m.

The update also fixed a Secret Bachelorette Harvest Festival crash, an Animal Festival interaction involving Josephine’s post-endgame line, pet portrait and house-transition visuals, and several interface issues. Animal variant names that had not been discovered were hidden again in the Adoption UI, and Steam Big Picture mode received a Confirm-button correction.

Crash fixes and hotfix boundary

The official crash section includes the Secret Bachelorette festival invite, a Tome becoming invincible after being hit while defeated, illegal coin items, Rare Bait in the Ruins, and several item or progression interactions. The March 6 hotfix also addressed losing the Seed of Balance after shoveling it past the seed stage and a crash caused by an illegal coin item.

Do not generalize one fixed crash into universal mod or save compatibility. If an old save still fails, record the installed version, platform, active mods, save timing, and exact reproduction steps. Keep a local backup and use the current official support channel rather than editing the save based on an old patch note.
