Patch 0.14.4: Mines, animal, and beach-date crash fixes

Fields of Mistria 0.14.4 was a small follow-up to 0.14.2. The official notes restored bugs spawning under rocks in the Mines, corrected item-icon and small-animal visuals, fixed an air-hit sound effect for Green Rockclods, and addressed animal pathfinding and Caldarus Beach Date crashes.

Fixes documented by the official notes

Mines bugs spawning under rocks were restored. Various item icons were corrected, and small animals no longer flip backwards when exiting the coop. Green Rockclods now play the appropriate damage sound when struck by a sword in mid-air.

The crash-fix list is narrow: animals trying to pathfind no longer crash the game; taking Caldarus on a Summer Beach Date no longer crashes; and viewing Caldarus’s Beach Date Photo Card no longer crashes. These entries do not establish a general promise about all animal pathfinding or all date scenes.

Current-use boundary

Treat 0.14.4 as a historical troubleshooting reference. A current 1.0.x report should include the installed version, platform, mods, exact scene, and reproduction steps, then be compared with the newer 1.0.1 and 1.0.2 notes rather than assuming a 0.14.4 workaround still applies.
