Direct answer
The official 0.12.2 notes focused on winter rendering, home collision, requests, performance regressions, and crash fixes. A same-day 0.12.3 follow-up fixed starter-home collisions, Shooting Star Festival recipe unlocks, Plum tree placement, and passing out without a bed.
0.12.2 highlights
Winter buildings, bushes, walls, and other assets were corrected; furniture near the edge of the home could no longer be clipped through; and the Big Bell moved into the Functional woodcrafting category. The patch also added facial hair and another hairstyle at Vera’s stall.
For progression and collections, Crown Request text now explains that the player must talk to Adeline for completion and rewards. Legendary fish could no longer be caught more than once, older saves received the Shooting Star Festival furniture recipes by letter, and the Ornamental Farming perk was corrected for forageables.
The notes also mention an integrated-graphics performance regression and fixes for wallpaper, the Unusual Tree scene, the Mistmare, and starting a new day. These are historical version notes, not a guarantee for every modern GPU or save.
0.12.3 follow-up
The follow-up corrected collisions on the starter home’s lower walls, repaired the Shooting Star Festival recipe unlock state, fixed Plum Blossom placement on the Plum tree, and stopped passing out without a bed from crashing.
