Direct answer
The official engine notes describe a sequence of stability fixes before the 1.0 transition. Version 0.16.3 addressed large-resolution performance, VSync tearing, gameplay stutters, slowdowns from farms with several animals, and several crash paths. Version 0.16.4 improved frame rates in busy areas such as farms, reduced startup memory use by up to 50%, optimized world rendering, improved performance on some AMD hardware, and fixed a crash while saving. Version 0.16.5 fixed menu softlocks such as the animal-selling menu and corrected the Animal Festival in Year 2 and later.
What this does not prove
These are historical engine notes, not a promise that every 1.0.x device now has a fixed frame rate or that every crash is resolved. The 0.16.3 notes still listed low-spec performance, stuck menus, and low-memory startup crashes as known issues; 0.16.4 still listed a UI softlock and an armor-equipping crash under investigation; and 0.16.5 still listed graphical and performance issues on some AMD and Intel integrated GPUs.
